More golden dandelions, more everlasting cuteness!

In a shocking turn of events, Minecraft’s tiniest mobs are stirring up the fiercest competition! Tiny Takeover is officially here, and we’re celebrating with two adorable community challenges* and even cuter rewards. Hope you’re ready to make pals with the new baby mobs and score sweet in-game outfits, because the community challenges begin... now!

Two teams and A LOT of name tags

Your first job might be the hardest – choosing which side of cuteness you’re on: land or water! In the first challenge, your team will need to name as many baby mobs as possible, either on land OR water (depending on your team) using craftable name tags. So the more players, the more name tags, the more cuteness!

Pro tip! To craft a name tag in Survival mode, you’ll need paper and any metal nugget. In Creative mode, you can find name tags in your inventory. Rename the name tag with an anvil and then use it on your baby mob of choice.

This first challenge starts at 8:00 AM PT on March 27, which is... now! And runs until 10:00 AM PT on March 30.

Once we have the first winner, all players will be rewarded with two Bedrock Character Creator items: the Baby Bee Top and Baby Axolotl Top. Plus! We’ll also announce the second challenge in which cute Java skins and more Character Creator items are at stake... May the babiest baby mob win!

*Participation in the challenges requires Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (sold separately). In-game Bedrock rewards require Bedrock Edition; in-game Java rewards require Java Edition. Once the first Tiny Takeover Challenge is complete, all Bedrock players receive the Bedrock reward and Java players receive the Java reward. Rewards must be redeemed by 3/30/2027.
