생성형 AI가 기업 업무 전반으로 확산되면서 정보 처리 비용과 정확도를 동시에 확보하는 것이 새로운 과제로 떠오른 가운데, AI가 추론하기 전 정보를 의사결정 가능한 형태로 구조화하는 기술을 개발하는 스타트업이 투자 유치에 성공했다.
AI 의사결정 인프라 기업 커넥셔너리는 딥테크 액셀러레이터 블루포인트로부터 프리시드 투자를 유치했다고 14일 밝혔다. 투자 금액은 공개하지 않았다.
커넥셔너리는 AI 모델 자체를 만드는 기업이 아니라 AI가 더 정확한 판단을 내릴 수 있도록 정보를 재구성하는 ‘의사결정 인프라(Decision Infrastructure)’를 개발하고 있다.
생성형 AI는 처리하는 정보량이 많을수록 비용이 증가하고, 반대로 정보를 줄이면 정확도가 떨어지는 한계를 갖는다. 커넥셔너리는 이러한 문제를 토큰 사용량과 연산 비용은 줄이면서도 정확도는 유지하는 방식으로 해결하겠다는 전략이다. 핵심 기술은 비정형 데이터를 의사결정에 활용할 수 있는 구조화된 정보로 변환하는 AID(Atomic Intelligence Decomposition) 플랫폼이다.
S2W 출신 AI 전문가들이 창업
창업진 역시 AI와 정보분석 분야 전문가들로 구성됐다. 이지원 대표는 AI 기업 S2W에서 부대표를 역임하며 사업 전략을 총괄했고, 정진우 CTO는 S2W에서 AI 연구개발을 이끌었다. 국가정보원 3차장을 지낸 김선희 총괄은 글로벌 정책과 규제 인텔리전스 구축을 담당하고 있다.
커넥셔너리는 금융 산업을 첫 시장으로 국내 대형 금융사와 사업실증(PoC)을 완료했으며, 신한금융그룹의 스타트업 육성 프로그램인 신한퓨처스랩에도 선정됐다.
향후에는 금융뿐 아니라 반도체, 항공우주, 보안 등 높은 수준의 정확성이 요구되는 산업과 글로벌 정책·규제 분석 분야까지 적용 범위를 확대할 계획이다.
안휘재 블루포인트 수석심사역은 “정보 처리 비용과 정확도 사이의 트레이드오프는 모든 기업이 직면한 구조적 과제”라며 “이를 해결하는 기술 접근과 창업팀의 역량, 금융을 시작으로 다양한 산업으로 확장 가능한 시장성을 높게 평가했다”고 투자 배경을 설명했다.
이지원 커넥셔너리 대표는 “생성형 AI 시대 경쟁력은 더 큰 모델이 아니라 같은 비용으로 얼마나 더 정확하고 신뢰할 수 있는 의사결정을 내리느냐에 달려 있다”며 “AI가 적은 연산만으로도 기업과 기관이 신뢰할 수 있는 결정을 내릴 수 있는 기반을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

Connectionary, an AI decision-making infrastructure company, announced on the 14th that it has secured pre-seed investment from deep tech accelerator BluePoint. The investment amount was not disclosed.
Connectionary is not a company that builds AI models themselves, but rather one that develops 'Decision Infrastructure' that reconstructs information to enable AI to make more accurate judgments.

General Manager Kim Sun-hee, who served as the 3rd Deputy Director of the National Intelligence Service, is responsible for building global policy and regulatory intelligence.
Connectionary has completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) with a major domestic financial institution, targeting the financial industry as its first market, and has also been selected for Shinhan Futures Lab, Shinhan Financial Group's startup incubation program.
In the future, we plan to expand the scope of application beyond finance to include industries requiring a high level of accuracy, such as semiconductors, aerospace, and security, as well as the field of global policy and regulatory analysis.
