Most on-device AI models currently on the market utilize a method of compressing large cloud models, but this has the limitation of requiring a significant amount of time for actual product implementation. In contrast, Outoffset highlights its strength in having designed models from the outset based on device operating environments, thereby implementing a structure that allows for immediate product application without performance degradation.
The investment funds will be used to build model training infrastructure, secure data, and hire key personnel. The company stated that it has also in-house developed a system to automatically additionally train AI models according to client requirements, enabling it to supply solutions with fewer personnel and less time compared to traditional outsourcing methods.
