A Capcom insider, who appears to be trusted by Resident Evil-insider Dusk Golem, has spilled the beans on what’s been happening at the Japanese developer. The biggest news is that a remake of the original Devil May Cry is in development, which will be sure to please fans of the long-running series. The insider has also spilled the beans on the various Resident Evil games Capcom is planning to remake and the information seems to back up Dusk Golems prior reports. Here’s what was leaked:
- Devil May Cry 1 remake is in development
- In June-July 2022 there was a meeting to decide the next steps for RE games
- In that meeting the green light was given to the remake of Zero, CV, RE1 and RE10
- Codenames for the projects are: Project Chambers (Zero), Project Fallen (RE1) and Project Redlife (RE10)
- RE1R was in pre-production since 22-23 and just recently entered full-production
- Claire Redfield to be protagonist of Project Redlife (RE10)
- Zero and RE10 will use REX Engine
- in 2022, Capcom shut down a lot of fan remakes of said games (Zero, CV & RE1) coincidentally in same year of the meeting
- Ada Wong is in RE9 DLC (corroborated by Dusk)
- Hints that they’ll be more than 1 story DLC

He been a mixed source not that accurate been wrong on some old rumors beginning of the generation involving Konami and Sony. This lineup brings no joy to me just seems like the same thing as usual. Capcom should remake Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 finally make 3, new StarForce, bring back Battle Network, Power Stone, Under The Skin, Gotcha Force, Gregory Horror Show, a port of Crimson Tears.

I only need to look at the remakes of RE 2-4 to See how Badehose games are. Hollow characters unlike in the original games, leftout content… if the second and third remake would have been like the Gamecube version, I wouldn‘t complain. But sadly we have shallow copies from Leon, Jill and Claire, Not to mention Sherry and Chief Irons. If the first games get the same treatment, it is over and the original series eradicated. And when that happens… I will completely give up, because nothing is left what I once liked.

This will be a bunch of flops if true. Even less people will be playing on PS6 the audience for this stuff is 40 year olds. More and more move on its a small audience it’s why these games are flopping. DMC remake will not bring in a ton of 20 year olds or teens it will be a small sector of 40 year old normies and that’s a maybe.
