Marloo, the maker of “an AI partner for financial advisers” has bagged its second big seed raise within months, defying the so-called “SaaSpocalypse”.

The start-up has just closed a US$10 million ($16.7m) funding round, led by Australasia’s largest venture capital (VC) firm – Blackbird Ventures, best-known for its early backing of Canva, now worth around A$60 billion ($73b).
