West Coast Customs helped recreate the in-game custom cars of 'Grand Theft Auto VI'
Each car comes with its own backstory, including stats, figures and details
'Grand Theft Auto VI' finally arrives on November 19
Grand Theft Auto VI is finally coming, and one of the best, most detailed components of the game is coming to life. Literally.
The iconic West Coast Customs of Los Angeles was brought in to recreate some of the most recognizable in-game cars with real life counterparts. The detail that went into replicating the replicas must have been painstaking, as we even had a bit of difficulty differentiating the in-game shots (above) from the real life photos (below).
And what’s even better is that each car is baked with stats and IRL figures, bridging their digital and real-life connections even stronger. Ever wonder what the engine was under the Coquette? Or how much horsepower the Tempesta cop car has? Check out the breakdown of each car and judge for yourself how close each car got to its in-game version.

Grotti Cheetah
The Grotti Cheetah is quintessentially Miami. The classic mid-engined ’90s supercar is clean, with Italian-styled lines broken only by intakes feeding a 4.9L naturally-aspirated V8. West Coast Customs lowered it on track-ready tires, gave it a “Vice City fade” paint job, and trimmed the cabin with custom-stitched Italian leather.

Air-ride suspension and gold multi-spoke rims sit under a cream ragtop and a leather interior with zebra-print inlays, because Vice City.

Progen Emerus
Perhaps the wildest build in this list, the Emerus is a track-ready thoroughbred, with aero bodywork and fighter jet-style vents built around a twin-turbo 4.0L V8. It’s painted candy orange with an even louder orange interior to match. One of the largest aero wings on the market, plus custom suspension and racing tires, keeps it planted when you’re five-star and on the run.

The icon and probably most recognizable. The mid-engined Coquette packs a 6.2L naturally aspirated V8 we all secretly know and love. Its “Yeti Camo” livery for the game in flamingo pink and vibrant purple definitely stands out in your garage. It also gets custom rims, lowered suspension and a fully custom leather interior.
