명절 연휴가 끝난 첫 출근일에 구직 활동이 몰리는 패턴이 반복되고 있다. 연휴에는 입사 지원이 평소 평일의 40% 안팎까지 줄지만 연휴가 끝나면 이력서 등록과 지원이 동시에 뛰었다. 특히 2024년 추석 직후 이력서 등록은 연휴 기간 하루 평균의 약 3.7배까지 증가했다. 잡코리아가 최근 2년간 명절 전후 데이터를 분석한 결과 휴식 기간에 이직을 준비하고 업무에 복귀하는 시점에 실제 지원에 나서는 흐름이 나타났다.
AI·데이터 기반 HR테크 플랫폼 잡코리아를 운영하는 웍스피어(대표이사 윤현준)는 최근 2년간 명절 전후 이력서 등록과 입사 지원 데이터를 분석한 결과 연휴 직후 첫 월요일에 구직 활동이 크게 증가하는 패턴이 나타났다.
증가폭이 가장 컸던 시기는 2024년 추석이었다. 연휴 직후 첫 월요일인 9월 23일 이력서 등록 건수는 같은 해 평일 평균의 2배를 넘어섰다. 연휴 기간 일평균과 비교하면 약 3.7배 수준이었다.
이후 명절에서도 비슷한 움직임이 이어졌다. 2025년 설 연휴 직후 첫 월요일인 2월 3일 이력서 등록은 같은 해 평일 평균보다 46% 많았다. 2025년 추석 직후인 10월 13일에는 20%, 2026년 설 직후인 2월 23일에는 29% 증가했다.
이력서를 등록하는 데서 그치지 않고 실제 기업에 지원하는 움직임도 같은 시점에 집중됐다. 최근 네 차례 명절 모두 연휴 직후 첫 월요일 입사 지원 건수가 명절 전후 4주 가운데 가장 많았다.
당해 연도 평일 평균과 비교한 입사 지원 증가율은 2024년 추석 직후 22%, 2025년 설 직후 20%, 2025년 추석 직후 21%, 2026년 설 직후 20%였다. 명절이 달라져도 연휴 직후 지원 건수가 평일 평균보다 20% 안팎 증가하는 흐름이 반복됐다.

설문에서도 연휴를 이직 준비 기간으로 활용하려는 움직임이 나타났다. 잡코리아가 직장인 1158명을 대상으로 실시한 ‘추석 연휴 이직 준비 계획’ 조사에서는 응답자의 44.3%가 연휴 동안 이직을 준비할 계획이라고 답했다.
이직 준비 활동은 ‘이력서·자기소개서 작성’이 25.1%로 가장 많았고 ‘경력·포트폴리오 정리’가 23.0%로 뒤를 이었다. 연휴 기간 지원 서류와 경력을 정리한 뒤 연휴가 끝난 직후 이력서를 등록하고 기업에 지원하는 행동이 실제 이용 데이터와 설문에서 함께 나타난 셈이다.
잡코리아는 하반기 채용 시즌에 맞춰 AI 기반 맞춤 공고 추천을 통해 신입 공채와 경력직 이직 정보를 제공하고 있다. 배우 박정민과 함께하는 ‘천만의 합격, 천만의 잡코리아’ 캠페인도 운영한다.
웍스피어 패밀리 브랜드 잡플래닛과의 서비스 연계도 강화했다. 기업리뷰 열람권 증정과 공고 제휴 등을 통해 구직자가 지원할 기업의 정보와 채용공고를 함께 살펴볼 수 있도록 구성했다.

JobKorea Sees Up to 3.7-fold Increase in Resume Registrations After Holidays… The Holiday Break Becomes Time to Prepare for Job Changes
A pattern is repeating in which job-seeking activity surges on the first workday following the holiday season. While job applications typically drop to around 40% of regular weekday levels during the holidays, both resume registrations and applications surge once the break ends. Notably, immediately after Chuseok in 2024, resume registrations increased to approximately 3.7 times the daily average during the holiday period. JobKorea’s analysis of holiday-related data over the past two years revealed a trend where individuals prepare for a job change during their break and then proceed with actual applications upon returning to work.
Worksphere (CEO Hyun-joon Yoon), which operates the AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea, analyzed data on resume registrations and job applications around holidays over the past two years and found a pattern in which job-seeking activity significantly increases on the first Monday immediately following the holidays.
The period with the largest increase was Chuseok in 2024. On September 23, the first Monday immediately following the holiday, the number of resume registrations exceeded double the weekday average of the same year. Compared to the daily average during the holiday period, it was approximately 3.7 times.
Similar trends continued during subsequent holidays. On February 3, 2025, the first Monday following the Lunar New Year holiday, resume registrations were 46% higher than the weekday average for the same year. On October 13, 2025, immediately following the Chuseok holiday, registrations increased by 20%, and on February 23, 2026, immediately following the Lunar New Year holiday, registrations increased by 29%.
The movement to actually apply to companies, not just stop at registering resumes, was also concentrated at the same time. For all four recent holidays, the number of job applications on the first Monday immediately following the break was the highest among the four weeks surrounding the holiday.
The increase rate in job applications compared to the weekday average for the year was 22% immediately after Chuseok in 2024, 20% immediately after Seollal in 2025, 21% immediately after Chuseok in 2025, and 20% immediately after Seollal in 2026. Regardless of the holiday dates, a trend of the number of applications increasing by around 20% compared to the weekday average immediately after the holiday was repeated.

Surveys also revealed a trend of using the holidays as a period to prepare for a job change. In a survey on "Job Change Preparation Plans During the Chuseok Holiday" conducted by JobKorea targeting 1,158 office workers, 44.3% of respondents answered that they plan to prepare for a job change during the holidays.
Among job change preparation activities, 'writing resumes and cover letters' was the most common at 25.1%, followed by 'organizing career history and portfolios' at 23.0%. This indicates that the behavior of organizing application documents and career history during the holiday period, registering a resume, and applying to companies immediately after the holidays ended, appeared in both actual usage data and the survey.
In line with the second half of the year's hiring season, JobKorea is providing information on entry-level open recruitment and career changes for experienced professionals through AI-based personalized job recommendations. It is also running the '10 Million Successes, 10 Million JobKorea' campaign featuring actor Park Jung-min.

The platform is designed to allow job seekers to view information and job postings from companies they wish to apply to, through features such as the provision of access to company reviews and job posting partnerships.

増加幅が最も大きかった時期は2024年秋夕だった。連休直後初月曜日の9月23日履歴書登録件数は同年平日平均の2倍を超えた。連休期間の日平均と比べると約3.7倍の水準だった。
その後、祭りでも同様の動きが続いた。 ２０２５年の正月連休直後、初月曜日の２月３日の履歴書登録は同年平日平均より４６％多かった。 2025年の秋夕直後の10月13日には20％、2026年の旧直後の2月23日には29％増加した。
履歴書の登録にとどまらず、実際の企業に支援する動きも同じ時点に集中した。最近4回の祝日とも連休直後、初月曜日の入社支援件数が祝日前後4週間で最も多かった。
当年の平日平均と比較した入社支援増加率は、2024年秋夕直後22％、2025年雪直後20％、2025年秋夕直後21％、2026年雪直後20％であった。祝日が変わっても連休直後の支援件数が平日平均より２０％前後増加する流れが繰り返された。

Alors que les candidatures chutent généralement à environ 40 % du niveau habituel des jours de semaine pendant les vacances, les inscriptions de CV et les candidatures augmentent fortement dès la fin des congés. Notamment, immédiatement après Chuseok en 2024, les inscriptions de CV ont été multipliées par 3,7 environ par rapport à la moyenne quotidienne pendant cette période. L'analyse par JobKorea des données relatives aux fêtes de ces deux dernières années a révélé une tendance selon laquelle les individus préparent un changement d'emploi pendant leurs vacances, puis déposent leurs candidatures concrètement à leur retour au travail.

Parmi les activités préparatoires à une recherche d'emploi, la rédaction de CV et de lettres de motivation était la plus fréquente (25,1 %), suivie de l'organisation du parcours professionnel et du portfolio (23,0 %).
