Sunday, September 6th 2026 The Blood of Dawnwalker Sells 1 Million Copies Days After Launch by DrUsmanSaleem Sunday, 08:12 Discuss (7 Comments) Rebel Wolves' debut game is certainly off to a strong start. The Blood of Dawnwalker has sold more than 1 million copies worldwide, the studio confirmed on social media, just two days after its September 3 launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game hit 1 million sales fast enough that most of it likely came from day-one momentum, though Rebel Wolves hasn't broken down sales by platform. The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy RPG set in 14th-century Europe, built in Unreal Engine 5. Players control Coen, who's human by day and a vampire by night, as he tries to save his family within a strict 30-day in-game clock.Rebel Wolves is led by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, former director on The Witcher 3, and this is the studio's first release since it was founded in 2022. As expected with a first release, the launch also comes with some rough edges. Performance on Steam Deck and other Windows handhelds has required real compromises to remain playable, and the game's most popular Nexus Mods download reportedly conflicts with its core survival mechanics. However, none of that seems to have slowed sales much so far. It's still early days for the game, but crossing a million copies in under 48 hours is quite rare for a completely new IP.

#1 Cool...URL? dawnwalkergame.com/us/en/home#media #2 There's also the GOG version which seems to have sold very well.
www.gog.com/en/game/the_blood_of_dawnwalker #3 Need to see more gameplay and how it really is and what it takes to run it.
Selling well don't make it a buy in fact better of not bothering my self most of the time. #4
AsRockNeed to see more gameplay and how it really is and what it takes to run it.Based on the gameplay trailer I saw the other day, it kind of looks like The Witcher 3 gameplay-wise. Considering who the developers are, it's not surprising. #5 I'm 18 hours in and loving it. I'm getting +100fps with my 9070xt at 1440p, max settings, and FSR4 quality. #6 There are many walkthroughs, reviews, and tutorials already on the tubes - so shouldn't be hard to evaluate it:

AusWolfBased on the gameplay trailer I saw the other day, it kind of looks like The Witcher 3 gameplay-wise. Considering who the developers are, it's not surprising. It's partly what bothers me, even though i loved playing the W3 which it bugged out ending were it just dumped me in what seemed a random area with no more quests or any thing i have never been able to pick it back up as the controls seemed very weired.
Unreal games to have a weired control movment which one comes to mind right now is Days Gone, loved it hated the controls ( movement ).
Thinking of trying it again but not really on my list to do so for how W4 seems like it's not going to be not my thing ( will see ).
Price of this is not helping too, $80 is a lot for some thing i may only play just breifly ( 100h or so ).
