글로벌 벤처캐피털 해시드와 디지털자산 미디어 블루밍비트, 한국경제신문이 공동 주최하는 ‘이스트포인트:서울 2026’이 오는 9월 28일 서울 삼성동 웨스틴 서울 파르나스에서 비공개 행사로 개최된다.
올해 2회째를 맞는 이스트포인트는 정책 입안자와 글로벌 금융기관, 벤처캐피털, 웹3 기업 등의 의사결정권자가 참여해 디지털자산 시장의 정책과 산업 변화를 논의하는 프라이빗 콘퍼런스다. 지난해 첫 행사에는 200여 기관에서 503명이 참여했다.
올해 1차 라인업에는 글로벌 자산운용사 프랭클린템플턴과 벤처캐피털 앤드리슨호로위츠(a16z)를 비롯해 테더(Tether), 서클(Circle) 등 글로벌 디지털자산 기업 관계자들이 이름을 올렸다.
프랭클린템플턴에서는 체탄 카르카니스 수석부사장, a16z 크립토에서는 가이 울렛 제네럴파트너가 참여한다. 해리 정 전 백악관 디지털자산 자문위원회 부국장과 미국 상품선물거래위원회(CFTC) 위원장 대행을 지낸 캐롤라인 팜 문페이 인스티튜셔널 CEO, 커크 컬리모어 미국 유타주 상원의원도 연사로 나선다.

Discussions regarding the digital asset market are rapidly shifting beyond virtual asset trading to intersections with existing financial markets, such as finance, payments, and asset management. As stablecoins, Real-World Assets (RWA), and asset tokenization emerge as key topics for new financial infrastructure, discussions among global financial institutions, venture capital firms, blockchain companies, and policymakers are becoming more concrete. Furthermore, with the combination of AI agents and blockchain emerging as a new agenda item, the scope of the industry surrounding digital assets is expanding even further.
Key figures from the global financial and digital asset industries, as well as the domestic financial and political spheres, are gathering in Seoul to discuss these changes.
'Eastpoint: Seoul 2026', co-hosted by global venture capital firm Hashed, digital asset media Bloomingbit, and The Korea Economic Daily, will be held as a private event on September 28 at the Westin Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Now in its second year, Eastpoint is a private conference where decision-makers from policymakers, global financial institutions, venture capital firms, and Web3 companies participate to discuss policies and industry changes in the digital asset market. Last year's inaugural event was attended by 503 participants from over 200 organizations.
The first lineup this year includes representatives from global digital asset companies such as global asset management firm Franklin Templeton, venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Tether, and Circle.
Chetan Karkanis, Senior Vice President at Franklin Templeton, and Guy Oullett, General Partner at a16z Crypto, will participate. Harry Chung, former Deputy Director of the White House Advisory Committee on Digital Assets, Caroline Pham Moonpay, CEO of Moonpay Institution and former Acting Chair of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and Kirk Cullimore, U.S. Senator from Utah, will also take the stage as speakers.

This year, Eastpoint’s core agenda covers five areas: the dawn of the institutional investment era, the evolution of stablecoins, the on-chaining of capital markets, the era of AI agents, and the adoption of blockchain in daily life. Compared to last year, the scope of discussion has been expanded to include AI agents, RWA, and stablecoins, and the event will operate on a dual track combining a main stage and private roundtables.

Au niveau national, des représentants du monde politique et des secteurs des valeurs mobilières, de la gestion d'actifs, des cartes de crédit et des technologies financières participeront à l'événement. Parmi les intervenants figureront le député Min Byung-duk (Parti démocrate), le chef adjoint du groupe parlementaire du Parti démocrate, Ahn Do-geol, et le député Lee Jun-seok (Parti réformateur). Des hauts responsables de Mirae Asset Securities, NH Investment & Securities, Meritz Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities et Toss seront également présents.
Des représentants de Visa, Samsung Card, Hyundai Card, BC Card, ainsi que de Mirae Asset Management, KB Asset Management, Shinhan Asset Management et Hana Asset Management devraient également participer à l'événement.
Cette année, le programme d'Eastpoint s'articule autour de cinq axes principaux : l'avènement de l'investissement institutionnel, l'évolution des stablecoins, l'intégration de la blockchain aux marchés financiers, l'ère des agents conversationnels et l'adoption de la blockchain au quotidien. Par rapport à l'année dernière, le champ des discussions a été élargi pour inclure les agents conversationnels, les robots de gestion des affaires (RWA) et les stablecoins. L'événement se déroulera selon un format hybride, combinant une conférence principale et des tables rondes privées.

Lors de la première édition, organisée l'an dernier, plus de 50 réunions d'affaires et plus de 40 tables rondes privées ont eu lieu. Des responsables politiques nationaux et internationaux, notamment des représentants des partis au pouvoir et d'opposition, de la Maison Blanche et de la CFTC, y ont participé afin de discuter de la réglementation et des orientations politiques relatives aux actifs numériques.
